Kumpul Bocah Production was
established in the middle of 2010, with hopes that Special kids can also experience the fun through their holiday time. Since, experience is very important for them. We will take your kids to experience the joy and the fun in spending their holiday through various activities. Kumpul Bocah Production is held annually during June-July Holiday, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Rani Yacob (Founder & Director of Kumpul Bocah Production)
Rani Yacob is now working as a Special Needs Teacher in a private national
school. She has been teaching there for about 4 years. Teaching Special Kids
has brought her to another world which she had never known before. For her, it
such a special world with all special things inside it; the kids, the teacher,
the material, the method, the treatment, even the environment and the
parents. With all the specials things inside it, she felt there should have
been a special programme designed for special needs kids in spending their
holiday rather than spending it by staying in the house.
A special programme which will give the kids experience
which might they have not got before, and also to help them to improve their
fine & gross motor skills, social skill, general knowledge and leisure
skill. With all the experiences in special education field and organizing
various event, she decided to establish kumpul Bocah production as one of media
which can give special needs kids more experience and fun in spending their
holidays.
Nanda Dewi Handayani (Coordinator & Consultant of Kumpul Bocah Production)
Nanda Dewi Handayani is a clinical psychologist who is now working as Special Needs Teacher in a Private National School (for about 4 years) and therapist in a
therapy center (for about 2 years). Special needs world have been occupied her
world for these past few years and she found it really interesting, inspiring,
challenging and dynamic. It is continuously inspiring her to explore treatments,
teaching strategies and the nature of special needs children. She finds that special needs children need to be exposed to
various experiences, as much as it can be to stimulate all of their senses and elevate
their awareness to their surroundings. They deserves the same opportunity to have fun and to experience everything just like any other kids in the world. Joining Kumpul Bocah production is a perfect media to make her thoughts and wishes about special needs children comes true. Therefore she uses her knowledge and
experience on teaching and treat special needs children to coordinate a series
of activities which are fun for them, but also have therapeutic effects during
their holidays.
